Not long ago, the Skull crew finally showed back in BL, everyone wondered what took them so long for a moment as they came into watchtower sights, but as slowly made their way to gates after being jumped from infront, it became more and more obvious, they had not a single tire in mint condition, which, normally isnt surprising, but what was, however, was the fact that almost every car had ATLEAST 1 completely down to the rim!

surely that wasnt from going just one way...right?

as it turned out, not even the gangers of both the Beasts, nor the shotgunners [which had it the worst], were sure, as the first thing they did upon getting out of their muslce rigs was check the tires...what was left of them, anyway.

The ever perceptive Robert "Pain Seeker" Galusha, upon checking the rigs of the other Beasts [his seemed to be the only one left untouched], he knew.

They had been sabotaged! some of the tires were made of plastic, which of course melted upon hitting the lava fields of FL, presumably hidden by a thin layer of rubber, which was glued on in such a way that it practically allowed the rubber to slip off.

Or in other cases, tires were slashed from the inside in such a way that they kept air and looked just fine at a standstill, but upon getting up to speed would shred themselves, which Robert picked up on due to how perfect the "tears" were, especially considering the terrain between the towns.

Hilda Ramirez-"Huh, was wondering what those strips were out there. Thought they were from some slim rig that musta been scraping."

Robert-"Nope. those suckas duped us, and them shotgunners got it the worst, when i realized out there i tried helpin' em by giving em a push, seeing as I seemed not to have any of em, and i can tell that to be true now" as he points to his car. "not sure how much I helped, but hey, they got here safe- speakin of, where'd they go? already left to the tavern i guess, wouldnt blame em either, i mean damn, 3 whole plastic tires, AND a slasher? they're damn lucky to even be alive after that."

there was a small moment of silence, before-

Michelle Apple-"who would do such a damned thing? we didnt even bother nobody while we were there, we just showed up, waited for them Clayfolk to crumble in fear upon realizing we actually showed up all the way down 'ere just for that one match. and then had ourselves some sleep before headin our way back."

Robert-"well, i would jump to conclusions, could be some nobody that has a vendetta on us, but if them no showing us is telling, it does make sense, had that match went off, our travel rigs woulda been fixed up by the time it was over, leavin' em no chance as we woulda then went straight back north, takin shifts drivin instead of stickin' round...but hey, we're all here, ery'body's in one piece, not a single chunk missing. so does it really matter?"

The whole Skull crew agreed, then promptly made their way into their workshop bunkhouse to get some nice rest after all that time spent in those crammed muscles.
