The townies of Gateway earlier today heard word of the Beasts' SCL
(pronounced skull  :p) crew rolling in for their final match, a destined battle against the final 'domino' of 'pawns'. all of them anticipated their arrival, as they had estimated their arrival to have been 10 hours from when the signal was sent by the SS gates comms, and it was nearing hour 10 since said signal was recieved.

And as that clock struck 12 o'clock midnight, it was heard, the rumble of vehicles speeding towards the town. It sounded like a mere 2 cars, as was told by the signal they had gotten, and as they came close it was obvious, as one of the vehicles approaching had the 'Mark of the Beast' on the roof and sides, a sticker they commonly put onto their rigs which had defeated their major foes.

As they rolled in they each roll revved their cars as the expecting paparazzi gathered at the gates, and after they rolled into the garage and hopped out they were immediately swarmed by the curious townies asking a plethora of questions on what their game plan is.

after a few minutes they set up a small stand, and promptly Ruby, the leader stepped up to face the crowd.

"It's a great sight seeing so many of you wishing to learn more about our plans and strategy coming into this final battle. however of course that would mean we'd have to go back to the drawing board, as some of you out there may be wishing to gather intel for our opponent. one which is especially a special case, considering the drama many years ago, way before i was the leader of this great gang, of this FOOL who sided with a silver tongued SISSY of a "Royal" over a Heavy Laser, of which said "Royal" im sure had plenty of then, and has plenty of now. and who accused one of our bretheren of being a selfish, good for nothing, stuck up scum of earth, all the while they were in the process of helping us Beasts, and without expecting any form of payment. but hey, let's not go TOO deep into the 'politics' of that scuffle, I myself only know it second hand having been mentoring in Morgan at the time that this whole ordeal had happened..."

Their was now clanking of work being down in the garage now, assumedly on the SCL rigs which the Beasts were prepping for war.

"..As far as this battle itself, our SKULL crew is readying for this battle, we are studying plenty of different battle tactics, and, if we find the free time, will study the topography of the area about this place. We are prepared to topple that final domino of the pawns, all of which were once much more powerful than us Beasts.. Before they tore themselves from our brotherhood, that is."

The townies roared, and Ruby would chuckle.

"If they would have just calmed down and thought about what they were doing in the moment those pawns would have seen through the blanket of lies that the "King" had laid upon them. but NOOO... they just had to absent mindedly walk away with him, and awakened us Beasts."

The garage gave a booming backing noise with the sound of sheet metal getting hammered into shape.

"Had they stayed with us, we Beasts would not have stepped up to the plate, and although we will not claim to have filled the cracks made by them leaving, we have definitely grown to be many.. MANY times stronger than them, and us climbing the SCL ladder is our way of proving it."

The crowd again roars, and like once before, Ruby put on her ram skull, and activated the pyrotechnic green flamed horns

"NEVER MESS WITH US BEASTS, LEST YE WANT THE HORNS!!!"

The crowd then erupted into a loudness which would make you think it was 3 times larger than it was.

"ANYBODY IN THE CROWD HER WANNA TALK SMACK NOW?"

She was of course inviting folks who believe themselves better, or perhaps 'Royal' to speak up, and explain how such is the case.

After multiple days of ratchet from the garage, suddenly the rumble of a 7v12 booms, before the Turin its fitted onto rips right out of the garage and subsequently the town.

the townies walk up to the garage, wondering, "what's going on?" they then ask to the leader, Ruby, and she of course answers.

"well ye see, we just got so confuzzled by the first leg of the triangle having none of the cowards showing.. usually we would have been completely wiped by multiple FEs, now of course we can't totally spill the beans, however we needed an extra mechanic up in SS to get our rig fixed up to make its way to Elms."

Chief strategist of the skull crew, Michelle, hobbles up with her stump leg, briefly muttering something to Ruby, before Michelle hobbles back into the garage, and Ruby then continues.

"well, like i said, cant say much, though we will be having our elites rolling through here some time soon too, i hear they took on 9 rigs like it was nothing with their new toy! perhaps some pirate scum will crawl outta the sand dunes for them to give you guys a show when they arrive, too!"

The crowd hoorah'd, as the leader then walked back in the garage with a simple, "well, that's all folks!"

and then the garage racket continues like it's business as usual.

Harold 'Stormcrack' Edinger, leader of The Firelight Rats, enters the tavern. He approaches Lynn 'Glamdring' Finch, the senior gang member of Longo's Merry Men in Gateway. He is careful to not make eye contact with her, for the Merry Men's reputation across Evan is Legendary and not something to offend. "Scuse me, uh Maa'm... you know that gang that always talks to themselves and about demselves over there in the corner? Well the other day, they was saying some bad things bout da KING himself... well we knows that the King has no time for such little people...so we saw em out on da road....and well we killed the head goofball there...Here is proof..." Edinger opens a bag and out rolls the head of CurseofTheBeast Gang Leader Ruby 'wants to be a' Fisher. "Maa'm, All Praise King Longo, please mention us to The King." Finch looks up momentarily from her beverage, nods to a humongous Mutie to her left, who counts out $24,700 and hands it to Edinger. Finch then says "We overpaid ya, but the holidays are approaching, so what the Hell? Now begone." The leader of the Firelight Rats collects the earnings quickly and runs out the back door." Finch then looks down at the table and realizes a VHS tape labeled "1200994" was left for her. She tosses it to Ulrik behind the bar, and says "Save that for comedy night."

(they wouldn't have her head, as we killed just about all of them, and literally won the return, but whatever you fancy)

The new head of the Beasts, Robert "Pain Seeker" Galusha whirls over at this, disgusted.

"ah i see.. hired crackshots to kill.. an old lady that was, admittedly, just a jack of all trades, having no decent skill other than her ability to lead? what, couldnt do it yerself huh? well, besides, they had multiple gangas that had quite the skill according to all the dog tags we collected, so who really won?"

The tavern doors swing open as Jerome Thompson of the Rabid Groundhogs stumbles in.

"Barkeep bring me an ale", he says as he dusts himself off. "Just got back in town from a visit to the Midget's brothel and spied what I assume was a Beasts gangmember hosing out a bloodied Merc with tears in his eyes. What happened out there?"

The barkeep spitshines and fills a mug with what passes for ale in these parts. As he delivers the putrid excuse for a drink he whispers, "Keep your voice down; that t'was indeed a unit of the Beasts and the leader of the Beasts be who was being hosed out of de unit. Seems that the Firelight Rats were hired to take 'er out."

Jerome takes a swig of ale and whispers out the corner of his mouth, "Well at least she died in battle with honor. Them Beasts not my fav'rite gang but losing a leader, even a dried up ol' prune like her, is hard for any gang. I suppose I can understand why we be talking in whispers then, outa respect"

The barkeep pours him another ale and whispers, "Here ya go......on da house."

"On the house?", Jerome questions lowly, his raised brows showing his surprise. "In the many years I've known ye nothin' EVER been free around this here tavern"

"I'm celebrating," the barkeep quietly responds. "Ya see it be not of respect that we are talking in whispers. She died from a heavy rocket fired from close range."

Jerome reasons, "Well, I suppose many a ganger been killed by them ferocious weapons. I've lost some of my own brothers to 'em over de years. It seems like a death worthy of respect."

The barkeep replies, "The rocket was fired by a tractor."

"From a tractor? At close range? They must have been badly outgunned then."

"Outgunned? Not really as there was a fire engine with 2 tank guns within 20 yards. The Beasts had a heap of napalm guns a firing in support."

Jerome laughs, "So a heavy rocket fired at close range from a TRACTOR is what done the deed. And the Beasts has a twin tank gunned FIRE ENGINE right alongside? I see now why we are not whispering in respect of the dead. So why are we talking in whispers?"

The barkeep replies, "Ya see, there always be someone of the Beasts coming in the tavern yappin' about somethin', complainin' about somethin', or beating their chest about somethin'. Well, after the Rats be through with them things kinda' got quiet. I've been enjoyin' it!"

Jerome pats the barkeep on the back and laughs, "I can understand that," as he exits the bar.
