Is There a car Limit to Campwar Combat?

Say I Used 4000cr In Combat . thats 6 players say 5 of them bring 5 cars each with there 750 Cr can the player with 250cr spare still add cars to the squad? and could it be posssible to allow more than 1 squad per combat so say 40 cars a side max maybe?

That limit should be removed for camp wars. It was capped at 20 to reduce exploitation of AI with mega squads

Having non-affiliated players able to attack from towns to take away camp tiles would also increase involvement.

I think I mentioned it somewhere like the mayor thread.

If involvement is the overarching goal, I see that as opening a much larger door to a maybe larger (?) audience?

Camps are still play toys of the rich anyway. And they still scare new players. Towns should be the counterweight. Maybe FACTION WARS to parallel CAMP WARS.

Yes. Everyone who isnt in camp wars and has their flags off thinks this is a good idea. There is so much involved with camp wars, this would add this much more to the requirements for camp owners that it would be overwhelming.

Of course flags have to be on.  I sometimes forget mine has always been on so I forget some people turn it off.

FF there’s always risk.  If someone attacks a camp tile it would simply generate decay away from the camp and TOWARDS the town.

What if the camp could deploy CR to “garrison” or “patrol” those tiles.  Then that CR could act as some sort of boost to AI spawn.  (Not a HUGE boost but something fair and balanced)

Plus it would announce it in the lobby and any player could counterattack.  Or join the scout maybe.  Or both.

I dont like the idear of a town being able to attack like a camp in camp wars. Making a camp taking a town over almost impossible not that ill be taking any over any time soon but still...if i could i would not be happy with this.

So you would rather suddenly be responsible for more mouths to feed? Because the way I see it, if a camp takes over a town, you are now the mayor. And have to fork money and food out of your own supplies to meet their needs.

I’ll congeal some thoughts into an example workable system and post in an appropriate thread.

I’m a little hesitant, call it Sam-itis; I don’t want to work to produce something (even if it’s just congealed thoughts and typing) if it’s a waste of time. ie: if there’s no interest by *Sam* to actually add/implement one or more or all features if it or to even approach the idea.

Without congealed thoughts we end up with:
—Camp Owner: I don’t like it (thoughts of penalizing his camp in his head with no benefits)
—Player: I like it because it sounds really fun and/or deepens my player immersion and experience (thoughts of attacking Ashlee and watching Simba run with his tail on fire going through his head)
—Designer/Developer: I can make it balanced where it benefits everyone and increases player involvement in the game (thoughts of larger player base and more money to pay for projects he wants to work on going through his head)

or towns could just not get involved in camp wars at end of day.....who's running these said towns with all the mouths to feed? the new players? unlikely.

Sounds like something u deffo want putting in tho...

Back onto the the subject at hand...

Squad car limit please and thoughts on that not on...how a town can get involved in camp wars...without having to be a camp please...

towns are owned by camps via territory, allowing towns to attack a camp means your tiles could rise up against you even though you already own the towns tile, Do not like this idea. It seems it would just frustrated players and make them give up on camp wars.

As for the car limit, I thought the limit was introduced because too many cars caused the server to crash on events, and also caused players to get disconnected when too many cars are on the map
