This truck stop, resembling a fortified medieval town, was created as a safe haven in the middle of the dangeous and infertile Badlands. It was set up when north-south trade started to take off in 2039. Lodging and garage fees are expensive, though considered worth the price as a secure stop-off point for the trade convoys travelling the continent.

As a small population centre, Badlands Truckstop has no training facility or hospital. However Trucker, Scouting and the weapons skills (especially Large Guns) can be learned here quite effectively. The local militia charge a typical fee of $750 for each arriving vehicle - this fee is reduced or waived for those who are considered allies, and increased for those who are considered enemies. This town is most closely aligned with the Badlands Truckstop faction.
