What did I tell ya!?!? It didn't take long for blood debts to be paid! This reporter sat in Gateway over night, had a hunch there was going to more bloodshed and I was not disappointed!

Beard Inc. and The Darkside gangs were all set for the last GW Triangle Death Rally of the year. Trying to salvage some much needed points after last nights debacle gave them a big fat 0.

The grid was set, then the last second entry by the Bastards, per usual, added two BPUs to protect his first place standing. The horn sounded and it was time for the chase.

X dusted off his twin Tank Gun Fire Engine for insurance in case Joel was coming for a fight. At the sight of the Big Guns, Joel made a 180 turn and floored it towards gate 1. Fe and Big C's BPU in pursuit.

Gate 1 was on a steep slope which caused the BPUs to slide. The Gateway Special BPU wasn't going to make the turn in time to reach the gate before guns would go live. No other option than to turn all vehicles and face their enemies!

Next turn, guns blazing, exchanging heavy gun fire. Rapid car cannon shots form the Bastards were cutting thru the left side of the Fire Engine. Next turn, Tank Gun rounds flipped Joel's BPU in the air as Marcus Guy jumped out and Robert Munroe lost an arm... and head!

After the smoke cleared, X had to make evasive action to protect the almost breached left side. Good thing Stacey Aquino knows how to drive, she manage to keep that weakened side away from the next round of bullets.

Big C helped chase the Wow BPU as it tried to run. FE slowly turned then fired the TGs again. "C" tried to squeeze in a few rounds himself and accidently hit the breach in the FE, knocking out Stacey. Heavy damage was done by Joshua "8" Ball with the last round in the TG chamber. Big C then got his payback by putting some rounds into wow, ripping off Eleanor "The Lone Wolf" Lewis'arm and a massive concussion ended her race... and existance!

The League prize and 1st place standing Joel tried to hold onto did not happen. Instead, he went from 1st, then all the way down to 4th. Due to the 0 from not finishing the event, his average score dropped and gave X the 1st place finish, with Big C in 2nd. Lucky Longo managed 3rd without attending any of the GW death races.

Sam gave us an afternoons worth of entertainment this past weekend. A good turn out of 13 entrants for the combat and 15 for the death rally. Modded Fire Engines for 1st place and big bags of cash for those finishing in the top 4 positions.

You`ve tired of seeing them on the circuit every time you visit. Every time you leave town, you seem to run into them. But just who are they - who are the most active gangs in Evan right now?

The most active gang on the deathsport circuit has been Raven Lunatics. Their most favoured type of event has been the deathrace, although they have also competed in numerous race events.

Big Earners on the Track

This list shows just who has been winning the most lucrative prizes on the circuits and arenas of Evan, during the past month.

The Darkside Gang Lose 2 in Gateway Triangle

 

 

A surprise last second entry, per usual, had 3 gangs set to death race in Gateway.

Things started out charging for the first gate with a 16 turn live gun warning. It didn't leave much time for the turins to reach gate 2 before taking car cannon rounds to the rear.

The Darkside driver managed to to take weapons recoil to slide the turin thru gate 1. Joel's Bastards then turned on Beard Inc. Multiple Rockets and CCs took out that turin quickly. Luckily, Big C managed to escape his crew before Joel could finish him off.

While that was going on, The Darkside turin's crew revived from being stunned and took over driving and head for the next gate. After clearing gates 4 and 5, the driver went for the hills to what he thought was the next gate... it was not. Gate 6 was inside town and quick 180 was done, causing dirt to fly up from the rear wheels.

Joel, now climbing up the large hill after gate 3, started to head towards 4 and a charging X turin who was heading for town. Joel's BPU, fitted with a 5LV8, started the chase.

X did not catch view of that BPU until it was too late to turn and take cover. The turin already had a breached rear end and minimal side armor. Then, a well placed CC to the right side did just enough damage to the 5LV12 to allow Joel to catch up.

One last attempt at a getaway by rounding a hill failed and another shot crippled the turin and badly wounded its now player resigned crew. It did not end there. The long lasting 12 year feud between the Bastards and Darkside is well known by all. So a post resign redding of James Cruz and Joel Litz was a mere formality.

This reporter will keep a watchful eye out for next years league races. This one definitely stirred up the hornets nest. Every true Evanite knows, where there is blood, be sure to know there will be more.
