I'm currently doing a few code tweaks etc. as I get ready to add Texan to the game! Awesome mapping skills plus some new 3D models and textures from the talented Dr Mathias!..

And a new town somewhere on the Southern Plateau... "Shantyville" will have no NPC-run facilities and will probably operate on an open-PVP basis:

Texan is a thing of beauty.  Wow.  With the artistic work going into Sars and Texan, the older towns and truckstops are going to need a facelift to keep up with their younger sisters.

Shantyville sounds intriguing.  Any hints to where on the Southern Plateau it might be?  A refuel/repair point halfway to either Sars or FL would be nice.

Also, any hints on how players will be allowed to set up garages, markets, taverns, etc?  The Whiskey Runners might be interested in owning and operating "The Well" as a place to offer drinks and dining experiences for weary travellers and recruiting.

If Shantyville works out as a non-NPC town, possibly a similar concept could be applied for Morgan.

Edit:  A new vehicle is needed.  Tanker Truck.  About the size of a lorry but with only 1 weapon slot each left, right, and rear and 2 weapon slots front.  Driver and 4 crew stations.  8L max unexposed engine. 1200 bulk cargo capacity dedicated to liquid cargo.  Instead of the box cargo body, it should have a cylindrical body behind the cab area.  We should see these hauling water from Elms/SS and fuel from Texan/Sars.

Looking at the Double Down Arena, those elevated platforms look interesting.  Peds sniping at vehicles from a protected position.  Or the event organizer could put a vehicle up there to act as a sort of turreted weapon.

I gotta add my two-cents. Spectacular! The crushed car walls remind me of the refinery in Road Warrior.. Very nice touch. Very excited about both places and good idea on the tanker truck as well. Doc, Sam and anyone else who contributed to the new material, very well done!
