Adds in forums, anyone else seen theese?

If I come to a new game site and the first thing I see are banner ads, I think "what a cheap game? Is this thing for real?" or something to that effect.  At the very least if there is a way to keep them off the main page or public info pages I'd suggest doing that. The Paranoid Tourist Precipitous Treachery Darkwind Guru Slavers Faction Group: Members Posts: 1,828 Joined: Jan 12, 2007 On my screen with my ancient monitor (9 years old) and a max resolution of 1024x768, the banners actually appear half off of the screen, I have to scroll to see them in full, so they really aren't bothering me, much. Personally, I wouldn't be turned off by seeing an ad in a game. I get paid per-click, yes. But it's against the rules for me to ask anyone to click for that reason (and the amounts are low per-click anyway), plus they are on the lookout for suspicious activity (e.g. a single IP address clicking loads of links repeatedly). Your good intentions could get my google-ads account banned. So, I'd prefer if you just ignored them, or clicked them only if interested. Treat them like adverts, basically..
