"DAMMIT!" shouts Randy Lawrence as he rips up the courier message.

"Sounds really bad..." Devil Dan sympathetically passes along another brew across the counter.

"Well Boss Rosco just informed me our efforts to bring some civilization between here and Badlands Truckstop have pretty much been... fruitless. I am to get my A Team together and move out to Badlands to get back to boot stompin the bushels of Pirates there." He pauses, tapping his wooden leg "...sans leg of course".

"Sorry, Randy, you guys really helped bring food prices down around here somewhat..." Offers Devil Dan.

"Oh yeah, well there's one last, Jack's Gunfighter style lorry load coming , so you might want to get in on that Dan...but after that we might have a box van load every few days only. Back to rationing for this town.

Rosco is pretty pissed himself and has offered me a roving squad. I can pretty much do what I want with my squad from here to gateway, traveling around like the FL manhunters. And...what's better..." He smiles in a very uncharacteristically nasty manner, "..is I can hunt ANYONE I want...."

Randy leaves the bar without drinking his free Beer. Dan wipes the newly budded beads of sweat from his brow and mutters to himself, "Sometimes too many limits on good people can just make them go bad..."
