A new feature is ready for testing: on-demand races.

If you log on using the game client and click on 'events' you'll see a new button 'Quick Events'*. This lets you request a new test race, defining the track, number of laps, vehicles, etc. If any other test races are already requested, yours joins the back of the queue.

You don't register for the events on the website: just join using the client program before the race starts (which is 5 minutes after the event server launches) and you will get a car automatically.

These quick on-demand events are for practice/fun only: there's no prizes and injuries aren't "for real."

* yes, I know the GUI for defining the race is pretty rough, it's just a quick first cut!
