Renaming:

click the ? next to the character name. you can type in anything. this could be used the "normal" way or you can add notes to the character name afterwards (e.g. Hgunner, Fodder, etc) to make it easy.

Character Presets

There are now character skill presets. Create a character, then select one of the presets. This sets their relevant skills to the preset level. For instance, if you select one of the driver presets, it sets their Driver and Trucker skills. Other skills are unaffected.

Vehicle Control

You can take control of your vehicles normally or use waypoint control. You can switch back and forth at any time.

[Apparently] vehicles with no player will revert to NPC control.

Teams

Select your teams ahead of time. If you don't, you might select the same team by accident and this will crash the game.

Start Time

To start a game pretty much immediately simply set the start time back 1 hour from default. The game will allow 15 minutes + for all players to show up once it is launched.
