As I was saying in last night's race, I was considering using the reverse order of finish in a league race as the grid for the next league race. However, with only 1 finisher last night (well done Scoot!) this makes for a poorly-defined grid!

So.. for the moment anyway I'm going to stick with qualifying times. Hope that's ok!

There's no jumps on the track next weekend Milkshake, so you have a good chance of winning ;-)

It would seem whoever's in first gets quite an advantage..just wondering how is it decided who gets first place in the qualifing races?

Milkshake: I'll put the dates up this evening if you like, are the usual set of times ok? I can put a practice session on earlier in the week too, but usually its handy to have a breathing space for making changes.

Graham: in the qualifiers, whoever logs in first gets front on the grid. But is no advantage after the first rolling lap, surely?

Well I was thinking the advantage was more that you didn't have to worry about crashing into the people in front. Meh, guess it's no biggie.

OK, they're up :)

Needed to fix up the transit's collision mesh first, it was giving some strange results, seems fine now.

BTW compared to the viper this van behaves like a cow. I think it'll be more of a shoving match than a race ;)

Do you think 3 laps of the new circuit is too much in this slower vehicle?

lets see what kind of times we get for qualifying. I think in the vipers we were getting about 40-50 secs so if it's significantly higher then 2 laps would probably be ok.
