Looks like there's a hole in the map....

Check event S1192507 from turn 135 or so. Mutant Masher falls into a hole and spends the next 30 turns or so getting chewed up by some invisible giant worm!

As I had him selected as a target, it looked like he was being beamed up by aliens or something...

I think this is a known bug. Its that 1 spot that I dont think Sam was ever able to pinpoint.

Hopefully the event log should help pinpoint the spot.

Must admit, it was kinda fun watching the AI getting chewed up like that...
