It doesnt take much to notice that all the npcs are getting killed and no pcs are attacking each other. The idea of saying truce in the beginning is absurd. This is an unspoken rule that i noticed my first few deathraces. Im not einstein in no way shape or form and i noticed that right off the bat, youd figure alo could pick it up as well. the way he attacked in that deathrace showed his true side. We can discuss this over and over till the cows come home. Its not going to change anything. ALO has shown how he likes to play, and that is PvP. I respect that and will act accordingly. The issue at hand is will this cause people to create an account, act like a totally new player, then borrow a car and attack someone intentionally? If that happened, then yes darkwind would really suffer because no one would risk good characters on scouts with new players. The new people would suffer greatly. That did not happen here. Task is a known player and decided alo was a target and attacked, fair and square. The method can happen in real life... an assassin infiltrate a gang and take out the leader or anyone with good skills. This has been happening for all recorded time. just lick your wounds and live and learn alo. besides, bad mouthing and making up stories about someone is physcological warfare, the USA does it to others just as much as Iran does to the USA. But that is a whole other story! the Idea that ALo and lord humongous was the same person has its merits. As I said, it may be wrong but that lord humongous account belonged to someone that had another account. LH popped out of nowhere talking about DW should be more PvP as alo was talking about it. The fact that LH had buzzers and apaches with CCs and ATGs was suspicious because no one had seen LH scouting or buying weapons from vets to have such power so quickly. I'll say it again, there is no absolute proof that alo created the account, only circumstantial evidence. I will not act like the US government and create thought police laws! LOL Just a note on that, look up the conspirarcy laws created to fight mobsters and how they are STILL being used today. BUT I WILL STICK UP FOR ALO in one way. If he wishes to play PvP and take out people by hunting them in deathraces, combats, or scouting for player squads then bravo! Be consistant and play the game as you see fit within the rules. You will have many more gang members and more cars latte. Just know in the future how task may operate and be ready. One has to remember that in this game, the loss of all gang members and cars does not mean the end. I agree losing a 80 gunner with 200 leadership is depressing (hint hint bansi LOL) BUT, you will have more characters get to those levels and get better cars. The point of a DR is to win, if that involves shooting at the guy who is currently winning, then that is ok. darthspanky McSPANKYS LOLLIPOP GANSTAS Darkwind Guru Anarchists Faction Group: Subscribers Posts: 4,008 Joined: Jul 29, 2007 i was assainated for my bounty and hero points by alo and xander in a combat even tho they were on my team. in fairness to alo he paid for the cars repairs about 25k yeah i didnt like it and will try to get him in dr or combats. but what bothers me is that if future pvp needs to be balanced not many can stand up to arls firepower unless it is balanced i think tasks actions are justified and im happy to consider him an ally but im not sure i would do it that way when alo or xander see me in a dr they know my intentions and i have cursed them and apologized for it arl may be disliked but they are skilled players who want whats best for dw even tho were on the opposite sides i reapect them for there skill and helping the community grow ......................... vet paintball wv1,0,1 Posted Dec 31, 2007, 8:17 pm

I condone Tasks' actions, hell, I applaud them!.... You should know that as a realistic game, there 'could' be gang members who hold a grudge against certain gangs or gang mambers. Like JD said, I myself am in no way masterminding some kind of plot against ARL. There was a post in the marshalls forum questioning ARLs marshall status that JD wrote and Sam posted for him. Here was my response to it verbatim (so I don't know why you're calling me out on this thread. This pretty much sums it up for me. Maybe you didn't read it?) I negotiated a price with wolfeater via pm online to buy an ambulance from him. 2. Wolf accidentally pm'd the password to alo. 3. Alo kept said ambulance 4. I complained to him but he wouldn't give it back to me. And he proceeded to offer me a lesser ambulance - smaller engine, no weapons on it (unlike wolf's) and all for a HIGHER price. I offered the stripped down version because the original one had chassis damage and I already set it to repair, I initially offered it at a higher price, but then dropped to the original price, you should've mentioned the weapons back then instead of saying something like, I paraphrase "Leave me alone or I'll diss you so hard I'll have to give up my marshal badge" when I pm'ed you the pass to the (weaponless) ambulance in somerset with the original price. So I did what you said and left you alone. You had full right to be upset there, but I left it up for a day or so anyway in case you cooled down. If you've gotten over it and changed your mind and want to buy it for the original price (with weapons) then say so, otherwise I don't see the point of being angry about something, while refusing to fix it. As I see it Alo and Xander have never done anything against the rules or even the spirit of DW, this is supposed to be a gritty post-apoc world of danger, betrayel and the making of friends and alliances to survive in a death-around-every-corner world.... What seems to freak most peeps out seems to be how well they work together as a team..... ARL is DW's first real guild and their co-operation seems to be freakin alot of vets out. Team-work as we all know is very important to the survival of our gangs and ARL has simply taken it to a higher level previously seen in the game. My hat's off to them in succeeding in building a formidable team. As far as duping yer target into a scout to ambush em, firing on a "team-mate" in a combat to settle a score, these are all believable scenarious in this dark world Sam has presented to us and have been paralled in popular movies, especially in the Western genre. And Speed I seem to remember us plotting the same things against Shark when he ticked us off so it's not like it hasn't been done before These actions may not seem "honourable" but it is a survival of the fittest world in which we live and u must choose your allies wisely. Since there are no real rules breaches here it's better that some lay off the cheating charges and simply accept that ARL has grasped the gritty world scenario better than some. You may love em or hate em but that is your own path to choose and after all what kind of post apoc world would this be if we all got along ageeably and didn't shoot each other...i'll tell u in 1 word: BORING! YES a deathrace is just that, death.. HOWEVER the person was behind ALO and had plenty of oppurtunity to blast him with rockets but did not... when said person passed ALO he opened up with rockets... who does this kind of playing? so yes its all fine the way to play DW and so forth... but the original post to this whole thing is ALO bitchin about being killed subversively! He is complaining about getting back stabbed when he was guilty of it WAY BEFORE! as far as the ambulance goes.. whoa!
