why are there 17000 or more feul cans in bl and gw, some of us have sv camps that make feul, waited over a game year to make 17k cans of gas to ship to ss, sold my ss camp when prices of water crashed from 214 a unit to under 50, not going to ship 20k units of water to gw from ss camp for #### prices, your making camps worthlesss imo. :mad: :mad:

no thats not it harry, couldnt care less what noobs do, but shipping 450 cans 40 times from sv to bl then 40 more times from bl to gw, then 40 more times from gw to ss makess making feul at your camp worthless when you can buy that ammount at gw then ship it to ss. and cant make any profit in shanty because theres no market in shanty.

I agree with this. There should be some kind of incentive for putting in the effort to move 1000's of bulk space worth of an item from an area of high supply to one of high demand, which thematically would be shipping fuel and car parts north and food and water south.

With the current NPC market prices on bulk goods there isn't.

I think this problem of producing goods will be partially adressed in the upcoming camp update - as of right now the things you produce at camp tend to be useless in that region eg. making fuel near texan, the one place it is worth nothing. There is proboboly a less crude way of fixing the fuel problem then making it so there is thousands in the market at all times, maybe a minimum will always be there for each player per day so they dont get stranded somewhere.

thats one way of incorperating hero points from that particular town, heros get deals on feul by spending their hero points, while those shipping it in can still make a profit for their shipping in supplies. i dont want outragous prices but a fair one for all that work or its just not worth doing it.

Getting stranded in the past was part of the game. It made you prepare. It made you reach out to other gangs. DarkWind is hard, unforgiving, and rewarding when you learn to overcome and foresee problems thru experience.

Can't agree with firedragon more. Please don't saturate the town's that legit wouldnt have fuel. Having to risk hauling gas cans or ammo or tires is why the south ain't for new players.

the gw fuel availability and price is a nonsense. it needs to be much closer to ss prices of the market has lots in or it breaks shipping from the south.

Player-driven economy.

Since it's become ridiculous for anybody but long-playing veterans to scout anywhere and live besides SS and you've used it to dump fuel into since forever and nobody's using it...capitalism! The price is going to drop!

Your threatening to kill everyone will just make everyone stay in SS that much more. You'll be all alone out there. Nobody will want your overpriced engines, weapons, fuel or anything for that matter. The game will change and people will be fine running after traders all day IN SS and never venture south.

Like the idiot Pedophile-in-Chief who's every business has failed, now he's killing America...just like the veterans have done to DW. The game should be renamed "Somerset Scouting Bright Days!"

Player-driven has driven all the players North, for good. So you've gotten what you've put into it. DW is an unforgiving place. 'member?

Piffle. The long-playing veterans were all new players themselves once, they took themselves to scout the south in steps. The same route is available as much today as it was then.

More piffle. PvP flags can be switched on/off - simple solution. To be honest this seems more like hysterical hyperbole rather than considered comment/argument. The reason for players not venturing South is complex and is more likely to involve issues such as availability of group scouting, confidence in travels, hyperbole such as yours etc.

Yeah, see my earlier points about quality of comment. If the vets are guilty of anything, it is making looking scouting down south more demanding than it needs to be. If you get to GW you can scout with sub 100 gunners as long as you use your head. If you learm your lessons well in SS, it is possible to use front gunned crews in GW with some ease.

You get better in GW then head south to BL and beyond. Players scouting SS in Buzzers against traders is nothing to do with other players and everything to do with that player.

There should always be a limited amount of fuel so that players can scout, and yes if a player has dumped onto the market the prices will drop. A player does have choice of when to sell their cargo.

Harry has been solo scouting in BL for the last couple of weeks. He has a bare bones gang with intermediate skills. He's doing well. A few knock backs. He can't believe how much top class hardware comes up in the NPC shop.

Regarding the original post- yes, the trade prices are a bit messed up. I'll have a think about it and take some advice. Fuel is a special case though- people literally cannot play without it. And I certainly don't feel compelled to reply to complaints taking Darth's current tone.
