Weird one this.

It appears you can't sell items you own, but could not currently afford, to the NPCs.

Eg. If I have $2000 in the bank I obviously can't buy $2500 of tyres from the NPCs... But I also can't sell $2500 of tyres in a single transaction. It generates the same "you cannot afford message".

You can sell them in lots of less than the amount of cash you have.

It must be a pretty easy database fix. Surely it's just a misplaced direction in the marketplace database pointing at the 'can't afford'.

while on this, you shouldnt be able to go into the negative. I recently was 2 million in negative and trying to get back into positive figures so that I could sell stuff on the market was crazy difficult.
