Exactly, yes. If you're taking a taxi somewhere and you get booted out in the middle of a dangerous district, to make the rest of the journey on foot - do you want to pay?

Sorry, this doesn't make any sense, both narrative and logically. I think you're arguing that black is white.

If I pay for a dangerous travel (even more so given the whole "choosing" you get of handing her over to Manhunters or not) and the driver decides to not give out my passenger to Manhunters to save her from slavery, and succeeds in escorting her to safety where I asked, even if the vehicle blows up and they have to walk, and she/he escorted her, she was not there alone walking in the sand... that would make their money earned atleast twice or thrice, 'cause for reaching safety the driver could just leave her alone and walk their way, since she's 66 and with deteriorating health and desert is full of mutant insects and whatnot...

It's literally the very best generic plot for an action movie: simple job, good pay, job gets tricky, heroes/victims get #### all around them, they survive, job is done, everyone goes back to eachothers lives.

So you get to choose if it's a pathetic mission poorly written where they don't explain the passenger has to arrive in a car because *PLOT REASONS* (hint: that would make it even ####tier, because even if she was unable to walk, the driver would take her with arms, or some crazy stuff like this) or an unexpected behaviour not programmed which you should include now that it's pointed out it is missing, since the passenger not only arrived, but I protected her throughout the journey and even treated her with some cozy sheets and a warm tea after that.
I can write chapters on this mission aswell, given how hard and cinematic it was. That's what bugs me: you're literally barring me from enjoying quests because I have fun if I risk my life for a reward of some sort, but I won't embark in quests which were left bugged, untreated and even justified in their bugs/holes? No. It's a no from me. I'm a writer, I accept no cheap reason for crazy stuff like "the mission has to be completed inside a car" and I think even if I wasn't a writer, I wouldn't accept cheap reasons for silly things.

It's not even like it was programmed that if you arrived with a footsquad a special dialogue would trigger telling you something like "well gal, you almost killed my passenger, no pay for you" and then let me decide something. It's plain wrong and I hope you get it that removing the NPC from the list and giving me no auto-fail, and let the countdown let me fail the mission even if I escorted the passenger, is an epilogue PLAIN wrong, no matter how much you sugarcoat it.

If I had to go through blazing guns to get a passenger to safety, only to be said "well no luck for you, and no money either" I would take out my gun and shoot everyone, period. Add that to the quest then and give some sense to your arguable decisions, atleast.

We can discuss it over like if it's a book or whatnot, for me, it's bugged, because I prefer thinking a quest is bugged than thinking "oh cool story, interesting, but some people aside from who wrote it decided a passenger has to arrive in town by car because by foot is prohibited".

Fix the quest please, I'd like to enjoy the game and not always overlook bugged things, quests are (were?) great fun for me.
