Darkwind - Viewing Topic: Flying ambo and buzzer

I turtled an ambo and lorry at the start of the scout, and started to think bad thoughts.

However using 2 buzzers as makeshift bulldozers like I have in the past I begin pushing the ambo to safety while holding off the NPCs.

At round 20 the Ambo gets airborne at 57mph, and the buzzer at 102mph, back towards the enemy.

Luckily I managed to get them back under control after a few turns and nothing was lost, well apart from a new ganger who got head shotted by a lucky crossbow shot, but that is the joys of DW.

Is there a reason for the nasty "spring effect" that I came across, and is there any way to fix it.

The Buzzer is most likely the main issue on this. It was "fixed" awhile back along with the BPU. Now "fixed" didn't mean it would never happen again, it was just less likely to happen and less damaging.

Only thing I can tell you is avoid using BPUs and Buzzers in this situation or any type that require bumping or running into anything because it is possible to have this scenario play out again.
