I'm not sure if it was a system thing or if a marshal did it.... but I was doing a transport earlier and was abruptly interrupted by a serious call (I serve on a vol. Fire Department) I had called a long time out but I know for a fact I was gone much longer than four hours as my civic duties had mandated. if it was a marshal or another player who saved over a million dollars worth of my equipment by extending the timeout id like to know so I may thank you properly. I was seriously just going to take it as a loss and try to figure out how to recover from losing my only buzzer.

I'm not certain, but I think the system calls extra time out for you. I don't know how long it will do it, but I recall having a situation like this where I took a time out and then forgot about it and came back the next morning to see my event still in time out.

If I remember rightly - if it was a solo scout then yes the system will automatically extended your time-outs.

So I guess you should be thanking Sam ;-)
