It's that time again to auction off another amazing supercar.  This Ferrari wannabe is sleek, and oh, is she fast!  With A-armor, and a powerful 5Lv12 (though she can fit more if that doesn't press you back into the seat enough).

Introducing the Queen Cat herself: Purrr

This auction begins at 2000 Chrome, with buyout set in the marketplace at 2500 Chrome for the elite connoisseur.  She can be found here: SS Marketplace

Lowered price for this amazing car--come on, gents, the engine is worth nearly this much by itself!

Nope, thats why you are having a hard time trying to sell this because of the value you placed on an engine that is worth about $750K. Depending on whose DW$ to CHR formula you are using, that puts it around 500 to maybe 750 CHR. This is closer to the current market trends that I have experienced.

Also, not as many CHR players around lately. You may want to try a lobby post to create a silent auction with players offering their own bids and see what you might get. You may not get what you seek, but if you need to sell it, this may work to fill your piggy bank.

And they're not that desirable either.
Cougars and Devilles are a kind of nothingness between the usefulness, and space of a Turin, or the outright crazy WOW of the Mckenzie.
Make either the Turin or the McKenzie instead- and you will sell them quicker.
There's no rich playboys in DW anymore. Everyone with the cash you want is either looking for stuff to help their camp, or stuff to use in SCL, CoE, or Combat. The Cougar- lovely as it is- is pretty worthless to most players left here now.

Not very useful without Pro Racing Leagues, which I think should be introduced.

Yeah- some open class racing leagues with cool prizes and camp bonuses would really fire up the supercar market- much needed.

And would be very cool events too! All the top racers with supercars battling in a 8 race league over a season- for a badge, a FE and 20 camp fame! It's time there was an ultimate racer league- opinions anyone?

Ah, thanks for the feedback--I wondered if I was out of touch on pricing since I hadn't put a supercar on the market recently. I sold one about a year ago for my initial asking price (and this reduced price now would have gone quicker than the banter, heh).

FYI, I used a Turin escort to drive this to SS, and I noticed no performance difference--it's the storage (therefore, versatility) that makes the Turin a better value, but on the BL/GW maps they felt very similar, speed-wise.

A shame to hear about the lack of chrome-heavy players since I rely on them to buy good loot so I can turn that into a bundle of training points for the new hires I don't have time to train in action.

I agree with open leauges. Seriously there's a nice sized chunk of high performance cars in this game that are rarely seen in combat, or any form of gameplay, it makes you wonder why they exist in the first place. +1 vote to non-spec class racing.

It's been a year or 2 that I recommended a COE 4 League that is the same as COE 3 except you used your own cars, no restrictions on chassis. May push this a little further to see what transpires.

That would be nice. Also, racing in the usual venues with pro cars and different engine size restrictions would add some "build your car" strategy rather than put the biggest engine in the fastest car. I foresee that after a few CoE 4 many players will be using the same chassis and engine.

Something for open usage for the racers would be nice. My Deville never leaves the garage, because it's to expensive to risk in a non league race that might give 5600 to the winner.

The fact that it scares the hell out of my drivers is irrelevant, I'm sure. ;)

Yes- exactly.
I once had a McKenzie, and it was awesome fun, but in the end was nothing for it to do. I would love another one to race in anger for badges and prizes!  :D

I don't have the financial or vehicular resources to participate in something like this, but FWIW I think this is a great idea. It would finally provide a use for all those fast chassis one never really sees around here.

Heck, I'd even enjoy just spectating these events! :D
