Yes... well.... another of those DW moments we love to hate

I just watched it. It might be worth e-mailing XMAN and ask if you can have your gangers resurected.
BPU 'dancing' was supposed to be fixed ages ago. I do 4-8 BPU scouts a day, and haven't had this happen in months and months.

Robbie, your BPU became a pinball for 4 turns. And the only way to see what happened is to view it frame by frame.

You took gun fire which pushed the BPU backwards into the gate. That bump lurched you forward where you rammed the car in front of you. That contact bounced you back into the gate, then propelled you sideways, 2 stories high into the side of the building. Then you dropped back down onto the gate which launched you back up against the side of the building and then you dropped to the ground. All this happened within 2 turns and was quite brutal.

Sam did make adjustments to a couple of the notorious bouncing chassis types awhile back and these incidents are not as frequent as they once were or as fatal. I can only stress using caution when driving these chassis types around buildings and obstacles.

I will get your characters restored back to pre-pinball mode.

Make sure you take the mileage off them as well.  I had a few resurrected once and didn't get the mileage taken off them, they died much earlier than they should have from that.

Thanks for bringing them back - I wasn't asking for them back, just wanted to share one of those DW moments :-)

I had spent some time on the replay and figured that it got trapped between the gate and the other car, and it was a combination of that and the recoil which produced the jump jet effect. Just been a while since something like that happened that it was one of those WTF times B)

The BPU still is a little messed up, just try driving across the bridge in the Interstate Mythos map - you only have to be close to the side and you get all sorts of fun with them rolling.
