The heritage of the micromanaging bastard father: economic history

Well, his blood is once again set boiling in my micromanaging veins as I suggest: A complete economic history. This would possibly take the shape of a small link under the weekly financial reports table, and would simply be a very long list of ALL our expenditures and profits. If this would be a lot of work, scrap this idea I want it for convenience, not as a life-saver (though it very well could save the life of the Edgerunner's accountant, provided I can find a good explanation for where those 6000 that were missing this morning went). But I imagine that the database and server keep track of all our purchases, sales and other economical gains and losses, and if it does, it should be as simple as just forwarding that information to a separate page, right? But perhaps I'm imagining all wrong, and it's just the ghost of that bastard father who is once again shouting to me across the years that the world would be a better place if there were functions and options for EVERYTHING... ......................... vet marshal wv Posted Dec 7, 2007, 10:35 am

*sam* The Salthill Sluggerz Darkwind Guru Renegade Group: Lead Developer Posts: 16,780 Joined: Jan 19, 2006 Actually, the database doesn't keep track of all purchases etc. It would be quite feasible to store each week's worth of financial summary data when it was being reset to zero on a Friday morning, it's just the database bloat that would concern me.
