Could not control car in scout.

Sam Adams American Auto Dueling Association AADA Pedestrian Deathrace Mafia Faction Group: Members Posts: 3 Joined: Jul 16, 2015 Could not control my car in solo scout, was squad owner and the only one there. Squad was listed in my little pop up window from the my gangs page, but was no longer listed on my webpage under squads. (event number s781690.) I was getting a message that I could not issue orders to this vehicle. I owned the car and both gangers in it as well as the squad. I logged out and then back in- still could not control car. Also had no options for timeouts. I searched squads and found the squad- I am listed owner. *goat starer* Special Circumstances Darkwind Guru Evan Reds Faction Group: Contributors Posts: 10,907 Joined: Oct 29, 2007 that sounds like it might be the scav bug.... the main way it works is if you are accidentally logged into the wrong gang when the event starts and try to enter the event. You can join and can take control of the cars as though you were another squad member. Even if you log out, swap gangs and log in again you will still be recognised as a squad member not the car owner. Now I have two gangers who are "traveling" but the car is home. No foot squad- can't remove from vehicle- what to do now? To try to solve the issue entered the car in a town event and changed the crew at the register screen - ran the event and put the car in garage for repairs- that all worked fine. However, my two gangers from the bugged event last night are listed as "traveling", and in "the diggler"(vehicle's name). What to do now? And unlike when they were in the car, I could control them. They got killed by a couple of giant bugs. Darned shame I spent all that $ on a rental car only to get nothing out of it.. 23565 was the combat number. No biggie. I'll wait a couple of days and see if I can get some new characters and HOPE this doesn't happen again. I need to read up on foot combat... So far, I get a couple of shots from a shotgun and then just stand there since I have yet to figure out how to make a character reload or use a weapon as a club. ......................... vet Posted Sep 22, 2016, 3:52 am

The event ID you listed does not exist. I had to go thru your event history and found nothing close to that number. I did check your last combat that had 2 characters dead (Ignacio Lopez and Tina Casados). Are these the ones you are referring to? If not, I need to get accurate info so I can help you.
