Can I ask why "Let Non-Demoralized Enemies Escape" does not include peds?

Lost a few gangers, including my gang leader, when a tanker exploded despite trying to let them go. S690334

If there's a reason for it, fine. Just not sure why cutting them lose still forces us to hunt down peds.

Mashed on zerk, most likely. Chemical confidence. They will try to get to escape distance, but on foot that's a long distance. xD

It's fairly unusual and rarely a problem - but if their engine is destroyed and the ganger is still active, they're going to hop out and fight on foot. You know which it is because they're likely to be the only one shooting at you while other peds just tend to run around and try to avoid being run over.

I've only seen one or two cases where a confident ped on the field wasn't using zerk, they give up when their gang suffers too many dead, same as usual.

looking at the recording, it ends before the tanker goes off. Everything was demo'd and all peds were down, Combat was over! If it went off in the next turn, I'd be compelled to throw a BS flag on that one. Might be a case for recall.

Apparently, anything outside a vehicle and standing on two legs is considered "Confident", regardless if they are atop their burning car blasting away with their crossbow or 75m from the battle running in sheer terror. There ought to be some redefinition of the word "Confident Pedestrian" and consideration for any outcome they may influence.

recordings never show the turn the last enemy resigned. the tanker did go off after the recording... also not true that all ped are always confident. you do have to really shoot em up sometimes though, but just the fact that they are running away does not mean they are demoralized. they're tactically advancing to the rear ;) also, just down on the ground is not automatically demoed either. they follow the same rules as everyone else, scary stuff vs their courage...
