-sigh- can't login for some reason :"( disconnected cause everything was saying querying server and when i retried to log in clicking login does nothing :"( keep running into your bugs for some reason sam! lol

hmm weird.

Im not much of a computer nerd, but if I was stuck I would download it outside of steam for now and see if you can get logged in. Go on the web to www.dark-wind.com, then download game. At least maybe you could play until Sam can suggest a fix. I have 2 installs of DW, one steam, one non-steam.

May need to run the client in admin mode, that should solve problem.

I'd say uninstall from steam and download client from this site and install.

i tried getting the client from the site when it starts syncronizing the patch information it won't do more then that and pops up with an error saying "unable to launch darkwind client application. it is likely darkwindlobby has failed to update the game. more information will be displayed." it trys to open a webpage but it fails and doesn't load also i have tried reinstalling it on steam so idk i feel it might be a problem with my account and not the game persay..... i feel like sam is going to "have" to look at it for me to play agian....

hmm wierd well its defintly something wrong with my pc not the game.... tried logging int omy bfs account and still won't let me.. clicking login just doesn't work at all or pressing enter lol

oh gawd vista... might need to "take ownership" of the game folder or some crazy thing... i remember having this problem in the 2-3 months I had vista.
