SetupDarkwind.exe incomplete, files missing game won't run

installed windows on a system today and tried to run darkwind. it asked me if i wanted to install java, but it never asked me about the c++ runtime libraries, and I have no idea where to get them. Game will not run, as a result I get these errors.

MSVCR100.dll is missing,

and

can not allocate virtual memory

and the game simply will not start.Luckily my travels all truced.

DirectX got the game running but still displays the missing file message
