This may be a redundant question but am I right in assuming that once you have been a premium player your gang size is always defined by leadership. So if my subscription (premium) status drops I don't have to fire a whole lot of my guys right?

Website is taking a little getting used to - the layout isn't that different really but, as with others, I'm finding some of the text (in particular the blue) a bit eye-watering (though that could be my current hung-over status). I'll try it out on the Ipad as well and fire any feedback through.

Oh also, I may have missed it somewhere, but is there any information on what the chrome based upgrades actually do?

Okay it looks heaps better on the Ipad than on my laptop but none of the drop down boxes seem to work and the buttons along the top (squads, characters, vehicles etc) aren't working for me either. Using Chrome on an Ipad2.

I am in the minority here, but I don't mind the blue font. If you you try zooming in with your mouse wheel while holding down the ctrl button, it isn't that hard to read or view. Man, I would hate to see how some of you behave when mom forgets to trim the crust off your PB&J sandwiches.

These are all issues that can be addressed by Sam once he sees the amount of player input. I would be more concerned with finding things that actually don't work or function properly. The visual stuff can be dealt with afterwards.

the colour is incidental

the lack of relevant/outstanding graphic design is terminal

As it stands this site would prevent people from trying the game

I dont remember many people objecting to the overall functionality of the original website... few issues with mobile use.. few things that could be tightened. Its design that sells things. people will not even get to the functionality.

I do agree with that Goat. I haven't commented on the new website functions because I haven't had a chance to use them yet. But from what little bit I have scrolled thru, I haven't experienced anything negative at this time.

I was always under the impression that the website was going to remain as is and it was just adding features and accessibility to the webpage from the client to make it easier for start up and game play.

maybe I'm not seeing what you are seeing but if you think what I am seeing is "removing the sidebars" you are in cloud cuckoo land.

Is it intentional that non-subs cannot sell/buy items at the garages?

I seem to be able to list stuff on the player market (but unless someone buys my ahem competitively priced vehicle I won't know if it actually works ;)

I like that you can sell for chrome as well.

I'm starting to get the website and it's design now I have seen it on IE11 where it works better than chrome and older IE for me.

OK I can see it's not perfect - the colours are not good, sorry Sam.

I can see what Goat is saying, maybe we need a wow front end that gets people attention while what we are seeing here is the nuts and bolts of running a gang.

But I need to think more before putting suggestion forward.

Tried lobby scout option - a good start but we should be able to select existing squads rather than start from scratch

There's definitely a split between what you see when not logged in, versus what you see when logged in. Most of the graphical content is irrelevant by the time you're actually using the website as a tool running beside the game client... did you look at the default home page while not logged in?

I like the specialisms showing with the characters from the contents of the vehicle ! The various colours are a little difficult to read. but a different font or font size may remedy it. Any font using red would look better on the gray if is not in bold.
I'd prefer that the squads page defaulted to the list of vehicles in the squad.

that is crazy... the look and feel matter whether you are logged in or not. The not logged in site for me is just a picture and a set of graphically challenged buttons....

I'm just asking where the design concept for the website has gone?

I tried to accept new memberships to one of my camps and seems the update button does not work as after refreshing the camp page it still shows them as requesting membership. Using chrome now as IE 7 can do nothing.

As reported by others - not receiving bounties

S644188

Looking at event it shows I killed 5 vehs with no deaths - Sons of the Confed have a bounty of around $98 - so they would've registered. Next to no chance 0 guys died after knocking 4 of their vehs to 0 CR (and shooting a stray ped with a MML)

Edit: Watched recording - two kills confirmed - unless someone can survive a skull being caved in

There is a concept - you just haven't got it yet ;=)

but agreed the front needs to have a more of a wow factor, the bit where you do sort you gang needs to work well, not there yet, but I get the use of tags for different parts.

For vehicles, the front summary/info tag isn't right -  just needs to be a quick glance to confirm everything is loaded correct and crew reloads etc are right, the other tags are where you do the serious work of refiting and loading.

Also needs to be bigger I think, might just be the view I use.

I like the idea of the new in-lobby scouting interface, but I found it so unusable I put a squad together via the webpage instead.
It wasn't clear at all whether my car was in the scout, or how I could add 2 as I usually do. Neither could I see what cars were in the scout, or use one of my existing squad names (I have 3 squads set up as scouting squads, and like to keep nice predictable names.)
Let's make a lit of features the new scouting Lobby needs:
1) A list of players in the Squad.
2) Being able to choose among your existing squads.
3) An "Add Vehicle" button on the Vehicle page.
4) Tags on the personnel page. I use tags to separate drivers from gunners from heavy weapons guys, etc, as well as tell who's on the sick list.
5) I don't even see a control for how far out toward Gateway or Elmsfield I'm going, or any control for what faction of Traders I'm targeting, both of which make me nervous.
6) As a leader, I can't see who's joined, or what cars are in. For a small squad or a themed squad like a muscle, that's vital.

Sam, I see where you're going in terms of making it easier for newbies to get into squads, but IMO it needs more work to make it usable.
