Gameplay Movie!, is done at last

*sam* The Salthill Sluggerz Darkwind Guru Renegade Group: Lead Developer Posts: 16,780 Joined: Jan 19, 2006 We've just completed the gameplay movie: GAMEPLAY MOVIE This is approx 45MB. Note that it's probably better to right-click this and choose save-as rather than try to play it within your browser. Any Mac users out there (you know who you are, oui!) might not be able to play this file as it's encoded using Windows Media format. I used fraps, it seems to be a lot better than camstudio. The other thing you need to do is capture at the exact resolution you want the final movie to be at, in order to stop any conversion being needed. That's why you heard me complaining about playing the game in a 720x576 window. You also need to capture at the same framerate as the final movie you want, for the same reason. Mac OS looks nicer and has a few slicker/more user-friendly features, but Windows OS gives more flexibility to the user. These differences are very minor.
