Seems reasonable to me. Much more so than that all or nothing PVP on or off BS.

Not sure what im risking.  Since I didnt decide to risk anything FOR anything nor did I take any action other than say I want people to target Longo so that I have a chance in the Ped Leagues after he promised to bow out after last season and then Re-Negged on that just because he wants to "Red out" Boon's "entire Gang" for shooting him with paintballs...

But okay.  if one of the people I consider a friend wants to come attack and abuse me due to tha crowd he runs with, thats cool.

I have nothing anyway.

If having to be PvP opened to be allowed to benefits of camp goodies is too tough to swallow, then maybe this will go down easier.

If your a camp member you are PvP able only from other "enemy" camp members.

Each camp would be able to set a status for all the other camps to either friendly, enemy, or neutral ... but what's missing then is a mechanism to switch status and not leave it so a player can declare everyone enemies and then abuse fine standing citizens.

My argument is there are too many camps. Also to entice PvP you need a good reason, a good reason for me is pissing off another camp. How do you piss off a insular camp culture? You open up as wide as possible all the ways to affect fame, and hence production time tables. What's valuable in this game is Time.

Sorry tinker, but going by that other thread I have to believe that you deeply underestimate the reason for why it is like it is, making more targets will not change things.

Think long, and hard on WHY all those camps are closed.

Please, elaborate, because some people might get miffed by getting intercepted in the wilderness, or am I wrong about that? Not to mention the point boosting you guys run in the leagues, but I'd assume that is fair play to.

Also, see how the quotes are getting messed up? This is why you put the quote above your response, there is actually a reason for that you know.

People that have done a full member harm or other action against the camp or it's members were targetted.

Point boosting ? Oh you mean 2 people, out of a field of many in the same race, working together, now THERE's an original idea in this game. Many a season I have watched and participated where that NEVER happens.

Outside of that... We were goaded yes, but we also answered the call... In the leagues, in the wilderness... wherever we can and do catch them.

Most times we win, some we lose, and other victories are phyrric...

Say what you will... but that is what is happening, and not straying from the facts.

Your editing of JOEL to "Alley" is incorrect.  It was Joel ALONE who fought Zed, and Joel ALONE who chose to value his ganger lives over the well being of his much lauded camp.

So the damage to the camp was as much Joel's fault as the attacker.  Joel needed only to put 2 more turns of fire on those last to "Things like that dont happen Deathtrap Flashes" that so easily were obliterated as they closed range, to WIN.  Instead he chose to lose and allow...  ALLOW by choice...  the Alley to be damaged.

In my prior line of work, that type of behavior costs you your career.

Dont sanitise what occured to leave Joel blameless.  He resigned to save a couple crew members, and caused harm to the Alley because of it.

You really are missing the point entirely tinker, I don't dislike you, but think about WHY it is like it is. It goes well beyond the number of camps or the fact that you can turn a flag off.



Necro, you guys were "Goaded" because you decide to use anything and everything you can to pull stunts, Joel openly admits that he likes to start #### to watch the house burn.

As for the Leauges, I was more refeering joining the same event together to boost up the max point value for the event, if this was intentional sam would have built in a team system to begin with. As it is this is clearly EXPLOITING the fact that the point value for an even goes up if several subscribers join it.

Imagine if Juan pulled this in the leagues? Having friends/paid people join his event, help him win it to boost up his point value above what you can reasonably expect to get in legitimate events, You among others would be throwing a tantrum over this.

Yeah, this is "Playing the game" using the current rules and the flawed design if our leauge system, but you know what? Juan was "playing the game" under the current and flawed systems to, I've always said I don't defend Juan and I don't. But what's the saying again...?

Don't pretend your own #### does not stink, I believe.

You do realize that that expense we made great gains.

Either way.. the "loss" really wasn't..

Joel, Longo, Tinker, Jagged, Baggers, and the rest *ARE* the Alley.

Otherwise it's just another patch of dirt with a fence.

Your nerd brother had nothing to do with me staying in the ped leagues. If you looked last year I was able to play in all of the weeks due to personal commitments...but really, that is none of your business. That's a good point, is that an exploit or the way Sam likes to see creative tactics, i'd wager for the later.

And we discover from a new guy wanting revenge and retaliation on them...  That the camp is PvP on but the members he targeted are PvP OFF!

And by the way, the Alley is not a victim.  The have threatedned to Red out entire gangs and intercept "until you quit DW" more than once to more than 1 person

I wont name names.  dont play the childish "to who" games you Alley people play to deflect the statements.  The people who have done this know who thay are and respond angrily when "indirectly" mentioned.

In fact...  a "Red you" threat was dropped just the other night when someone non-ally annoyed an Ally member.  And the annoyance did NOT cost the Alley member any pain injury or death.  But now someone is a target again for Red-stinction
