Clarence Hernandez sat up and rubbed his head. It’s was banging like a brat playing on an old tin can with some sticks. He looked about him and couldn’t work out where he was.

He dragged himself to his feet and struggled to the window, where he gazed out on to Morgan.

“Well I remember getting here” he mutters to himself, “And I remember getting paid as well” checks his pouch and a finding a reassuring lump there. “At least I ain’t dollarless”

Guessing that he was in The Morgan Inn, he headed downstairs to find a drink.

Arriving at the bar, he spotted a familiar figure sat there nursing a drink, it was his taxi passenger. After buying a couple drinks at the bar, Clarence wondered across to him.

“Mind if I sit here?” and with that he sits down and places a drink in front of Aaron Memorie, “Here drink up, and you can tell me what happen?”

Aaron looks at him puzzled and grunts “I guess you won’t remember.”

“We got here in good time, didn’t see any trouble other than a few snow drifts on the way. Just parked up and sorted out a garage for that car of yours when all hell broke lose”

Clarence rubs his head, “Yeah this sounds familiar, there was some fighting going on near the gate I remember”

Aaron smiles “Yeah you were just about to jump back into that car of yours to try and get clear when someone jumped you from behind – you got thumped with a crow bar and went down like a sack of spuds”

“His mate appeared with a shotgun, and I ain’t going to face up to one of them. Then the pair of jumped in the car and raced off. I drag you into here and dumped you on a bed.”

“By the way you own the man for you room”

Clarence shakes his head “How I’m going to explain this one to Fitty, that was a brand new car on its shakedown run.”

OOC

First run to Morgan ended in disaster, just brought my first Moray and set off on it’s first courier run – a taxi run to Morgan, $9900 for one passenger, I wasn’t going to turn that down. Even had a good run without a single encounter!!!

Thought I got the timing right and would miss the town attacks. Think again got in at 4.32 and last attack was 5.00 – bye bye Moray

Clarence leant his head against the cool stones of the wall to ease the pain in his banging head, both from the wallop he had received and the voice is his ear.

“But boss I…………..”

He shuts up as the stream of abuse continues out the ear piece of the radio.

“But boss I got jumped……………………”

Around him people grinned at his discomfort at the telling off he is so obviously getting.

“Please boss I…………………………”

It seems that the person on the other has run out of breathe, as the radio goes quiet.

“Ok boss I’ll sit tight and wait”

Clarence eases the out of the chair by the radio, looking slightly pale after the torrent of abuse he has just received. “Man I need a stiff drink after that”

An old man at the end of the bar nods his head to the bar keep, who follows up the action, pouring too fingers and sliding it to rest in front of Clarence. "Good to keep warm up here." Grumbles the man through gritted teeth.

Clarence Hernandez sat leaning on the bar in the Inn at Morgan, in front of him sat the remains of a meal and he was slowly sipping a drink.

He was bored of staring out of the window at the same view but at the same time praying that it won’t change. Boredom meant that the gangs hadn’t decided to pay Morgan a visit again.

Suddenly the door banged open making everyone in the room jump. “Ahh there you are,” booming a voice across the room.

“Oh they would have to send you, won’t they” groaned Clarence, turning to look at Roderick Damato, who stood they laughing at his fellow Cousin Jack.

“Come on, shut up your moaning and let’s get out of here!” said Roderick with a grin.

Turning to the old man at the end of the bar, "Many thanks for your company" he said.

The pair of them left the Inn, which became very quiet again almost as if it was holding it’s breathe waiting for the next excitement. And after a short while the sounds of a v8 was heard roaring out of the gates.

OOC

Sent another muscle courier to rescue my stranded driver, was shocked at not getting any encounters again.

That’s 3 trips to & from Morgan and still haven’t had a single encounter!!

Though whether I go again is another question

seems the roads are pretty empty. Just look out for those slavers that like to sit at the gates and prey on small travels, lost in the snow fall. Lost a Mcfly due to complacency at the lack of danger. Heh, was I wrong, or what.
