GoE leagues mess up again, Server is and will be confused

Darkwind Guru Mutants Faction Group: Rules Council Posts: 3,543 Joined: Jan 12, 2008 <Face palm> Unfortunately this happened again a few hours before all the GoE events and like the previous server outages made a mess of the 3 leagues in various ways. Just like the last time all 3 GoE leagues have this weeks first events in registration phase. All 3 Leagues are now a week behind and these leagues will not finish at the end of the season due to the events being stuck in registration phase. Each time this happens to the GoE leagues the scoring can/starts to get messed up starting the week after the outage for any player taking part in the second and only event the previous week due to the server being confused. As before all the stuck events are usually reset for the end of the season, though I'm not sure if the server will correct or adjust the scoring before the season ends. (wait and see) This could get worse if we have another outage before the end of the season. Not sure why the last two outages occurred on a Sunday between 05:00-07:00 server. Very coincidental, is the server doing anything around this time, like a clean up process? Since I was not able to register nor able to participate (if it actually even occured) I dont know what kind of points he would give.  It wouldnt be fair to anyone who DID participate in the Sunday afternoon one as opposed to the 6am one (my time). Not that it REALLY matters, it's just a game.  but I sure enjoy giving you guys a run for the money!  Now im zeroed for the GW week which places me way out of any contention for the #1 spot. So the league is extended an additional week. So in this case the 3 messed up GW events for all 3 leagues will occur a week after the Shanty one. I looked carefully at server logs and scheduled activities, and it really looks like a coincidence that this always seems to happen on Sunday mornings. And there's nothing DW can throw at the new server that will make it struggle at all. I'm pretty sure anything goes, I don't recall Sam preventing this in the past. If you want me out, you should be able to come after me, the server outage should not create a shield that protects me. Brun, I went through Goe 3 and looked at the actual point standings and added up each week for positions 1 through 5. Looks like you had a bad day in Texan this week. Here's what I added up at the end of this weeks Texan event. Hell-87 Sunset-80 Blue-72 Joel-66 Sword-54* *-I did not see Sword place in the one GW event. I was unable to participate in the GW event and plan to run the make-up at the end of the season.
