A lot of the things that I've been doing this week (20th March) are little tweaks and bugfixes, so no new cars or tracks just yet!

The "extra" chat window is gone - there's now just the one at the top, which can be resized with 'p' and you can scroll it up and down using pageup/pagedown. As you'll see other bits and pieces of the GUI have been moved so that things don't overlap anymore. The very annoying loss of focus from the chat textbox whenever the time rolls forward has also been fixed.

It took about a day to track down "the steering bug", which was the biggest problem IMO. Anyway, that's gone and I'll be making tests to see if there are any more...

There's also a list now, over on the right, of all users in the event. Black text means spectator, red means a competitor who has not yet submitted a move, and green means a competitor who has submitted a move.

There's a couple of other things I hope to get to over the next day or so, such as the option to change resolution (use the 'top menu' for that).

Thanks to Alk and Bohan for the useful GUI and usability related feedback, and especially to Simon and Bohan for spending so much time trouble-shooting our email send problems. Also to Dr. Phox for spearheading the roleplaying around here! Thanks guys - may your mounted machine guns never rust up and backfire!

-- edit: yes, they will rust up and backfire, that's one of the things I have planned of course. Muhahaha

oh, yeah.. also the ghost car's maximum time into the future is now determined by driver skill: in fact you need a skill of 50 to see more than 1 second ahead, so that's none of us right now, not even Antonio Martin!

The steering wheel and speedo are now draggable..
