Yeah, we have them planned. The main divegence from car wars will be that turrets will have a limited turn rate (perhaps 30 degrees per second) and a limited firing arc - not wanting to damage the tactics of maneouvering.

We'll need turrets for these babies :cyclops::

Nice. That first one looks a lot like a Russian BA-6 but I can't place the second one, kind of a composite of several armored cars methinks.

Multi-wheeled vehicles would be very cool as well as the turrets.

I know, kind of like a fat US M-20? Chassis looks a bit large for that but it may be the angle.

i belive rocket should be used as turrent only weapon as u cant use rocket in side of a car becuz of the gaz and rocket as turrent will be nicer as there no such thing rocket with 10 ammo it is imposible to disinge without not makeing sure it will explode.
rocket louncher got only 1 ammo to use more rocket u need to make it double louncher trpiale or on biger car's biger and biger.

rocket turrent will give some thing difrante as the turrent wount take bulk and only the ammo will take bulk.

but rocket will got the HEAT Thing that will make armor crack faster and rocket wount be able to use by each car as it not got the mount,

turrets are already defined in the originl literature of car wars with all the limitations, etc.....

a trader van will fit a turret, no problem. just a small MG, Car Rifle, etc... all the 40 bulk and lower weapons would not need a large vehicle to have a turret

You need a huge vehicle for a tank gun anyway...

I dont recall the turret bulk to add to a vehicle

say the turret is bulk 100.... that means with say a van, 100 bulk would just be for the turret, whatever is left for the weapons, etc...

turrets are for all weapons, just depends on the turret size.. so saying that we would need small, medium, and large turrets. small for 20 bulk weapons, medium for 30 bulk weapons, and large for 40 bulk weapons

Exact MJC, the turret size needs to be proportional to the mounted weapons in some way.

I'm considering a turret should be at least equal to the attached weapon at the moment. Maybe larger in bulk.
Nothing is decided anyway.

I can hardly see a Tank Cannon with 200 bult fitted to a 40 bulk turret.  :stare:

I think turret should have a higher bulk (about 50%) more than the maximum weapon bulk they can mount, for a hand manned turret with a low rotation, and twice the bulk for a mechanical powered one.
So, yes, 400 bulk for a tank cannon turret with assisted rotation.

The idea is to have players define which turret size they want, and then let them mount weapons of their choice.

These are only ideas are not reflectiing a work in progress!
