I've made some changes to field training (mostly in response to a potential exploit which was pointed out to me).

Now, your characters will not get field training in either ladders or custom events.

However, I have now added Driving training in the wilderness.

I have also made it so that the amount of driving/trucker training you get is directly related to the amount of driving that was actually done. In other words, if you resign really early, your training will be minuscule.

This doesnt seem to be working. I've gone on quite a few scouts today and my drivers aren't gaining anything in driving.

What was the distance Clifton?
The skill improvement is based on length, so don't expect to have any significant progress when driving only a few miles.

It's not actually based on simulated miles travelled vikk, it's based on how many moves were conducted in the combat.

Clifton: they have probably gained a fraction of 1 point.

Could be...I just figured they'd gather at least 1-2 full points after 8 scouts. Each scout is taking me 10-20 realtime minutes (not sure how many turns that is...but I can grab the event IDs if you wanna look into it).

Yeah, I would have expected some noticeable training in 8 scouts..
I don't actually log training data in the game log however.

I'll test my code independently, thanks.
