Scavenger - I can't do it!!

I am loving scavenger mode but the ammo scarcity is a killing blow. A few events will occasionally throw some ammo up for prizes, but usually at times that are way outside my play time. With no ammo, I can't scout. Without scouting I can't get ammo. There isn't anything BUT ammo that people want to trade for, so there is a balancing issue there. But Juris is basically right - MG are 90% of your firepower due to high lootablity.
