I find it a tad to complicated to view the names of the players in events. By complicated, I mean that it should be a hundred percent intuitive and immediate, not just very easy, which it is right now ;)

Currently, the list in the upper left hand corner can be switched between player and gang name, which is a good thing. However, and here's my main gripe, the gang name above the cars does not change. So, in order to know who drives what car, you have to look at the left hand list, change to player name, see which gang that belongs to which player name, and then find that gang above the cars.

It is not a big deal, but I've been asked at least twice in three days how to know who drives what car, and I assume that means there is room for improvement (either in Darkwind, or in the people who play it ;) ).

So, here's what I suggest:

# When F9 is used to switch between player and gang name in the event participants' list, let the gang name above the cars change as well.

OR

# Give us another F-button alternative that displays the player names above the cars.

Furthermore, I'd be a very happy non-camper if:

# The chat could altered to (optionally) display player name instead of either driver name, gang name, or all three, when someone writes something. It's not a hassle, nor a pain, but it's slightly less intuitive and immediate to have to look at "Frances Adams (Edgerunners):", and then look at the participants' list and press F9 to see who that fella is, than to immediately see "Ayjona (Edgerunners):", "Frances Adams (Ayjona):" or "Frances Adams: (Ayjona, Edgerunners):". I do like the fact that it is the driver who chats, for roleplaying and immersive purposes, and that's why I want to be able to still see it, but also be able to see the player name at the same time.

Of course, this problem vanishes entirely when you get to know the players and which gang they belong to. But hey, here's to hoping Darkwind gathers many, many more players than us few braves one day, and then, we might need this function to differ between "WoWlover3", "WoWmother2" and "Wolfmother5"...
