I use a 1 as a small mission runner with a 4L engine...still has 60 space left.

The other has a 5L engine which leaves 40 space...pefect taxi.

Runs well with a 4L...and obviously a bit better with the 5L.

The 4L has never come close to being caught in it's travels from SS to Elms and back. Handles pretty well too.

I do this, and use it as the scout car / chaser in my solo squads.

what to do whith a bucky?

Look cool B)

Buccaneers don't have a lot of armor (1-2 points less per side than Phoenix/Sunrise) but they are blindingly fast!

I use mine as transports for high profile gangers since the risk of being caught in enemy fire is reduced to very bad ambushes and poor player decisions. You should be able to make quick work of any encounter otherwise.

As a combat vehicle, they fair just as well as a Phoenix or Sunrise but their relative rarity make them a bitter loss when they don't make it back. I never use them in combat, but I am saving one Buccaneer in hopes that I will one day own a laser...

Agree with the above engine choices and if you are going with a 4L, then A armor will offset the 5L or V8 deficiency. In a scout, you are loosing little armor anyway so the cost of A is made up by the speed you gain and lowering your loss rate.

As Muscle cars go, I feel the Bucc has the most 'neutral' overall handling of the bunch except for maybe the Osprey. It doesn't bounce as much as a Sunrise or a Moray, it slides less than a Pho and way less than a Flail and it seems wider and so it seems less easy to flip.

On top of all that, the model looks great, too!

Taken from the WIKI

This muscle car is a GREAT race car! Its suspension is very forgiving of even the roughest and bumpiest of tracks. It's slightly heavy as far as muscle cars go, but the handling and speed provided make even the novice driver look good on the track.

While the "Bucky" may be a rare find, once you have one and race it, you won't let it go!

As far as combat goes, you can put some weapons to good use with this chassis. It is, however, a bit on the fragile side in chassis toughness. Use the horsepower to your advantage and out-maneuver your enemies while getting in some weapon hits and you 'should' see success with the "Bucky".
============================

The "Bucky will take a 5LV8 but it will be exposed.......
With that engine though, it will run away from trouble faster than it got into it!

You MUST try that car on the Pro-Racing circuit... Especially on the SS Junkyard tracks!...... Soften up the shocks a bit and keep the suspension length as is and you'll have a REALLY FUN race car!.....

Steer clear of the DR's or combat arenas though, unless you can stand losing the car without crying in your beer about the loss!
