Darkwind - Viewing Topic: Mission Availability?

Am I too slow? Or has mission availability been down-tweaked? Somerset and Gateway have been sparse with jobs as of late. I'm not sure if everyone is just gathering them up constantly and I'm missing out, the refresh has been down-tweaked, or people just weren't taking missions last week and now everyone's loaded and maxed out with missions at all times.

Badlands has a good amount, Elmsfield has a fair showing, but Somerset and Gateway never have more than 2-3 (and it's always the crappy ones that require lorries to do).

I'm not sure, but I think it may have to be bound to the dynamic world economical environment Sam has set up.

but... I'm not completely aware of Sam's secrets

Ah, that would explain the fluctuation and unpredictable availability. It is probably just more people taking missions lately though, and the refresh is having trouble keeping up.

Either that, or the refresh is good, it's just that people complete and accept new ones so fast, that right when I check, 30 minutes ago someone already cleaned out the non-lorry ones. In which case I guess it's just bad luck on my end.

On a slightly unrelated topic, I'm noticing that all that's left of the missions every time I check are the dregs... you know, the, "Carry this 691 bulk of mail to Elmsfield for me and I'll give you 591 bucks. That's right, it won't even cover gas," missions. There's one like that in somerset, and two even crappier ones in Gateway right now.. one in gateway has a payoff of like 300 bucks.
