1. You can now take control of peds in your squad if their owner is not in-game (e.g. a footsquad)

2. Audio alert when you can intercept a squad for pvp

3. Tweaked the size of some existing vehicle models (made buzzer a little smaller, bus a little bigger, fiftyseven bigger, and trashtruck smaller)

4. Added the Motorhome (thanks Bastille for the skin, and demonwhisperer for the texture re-mapping!)

5. Added the Tanker (thanks Volvo for the skins!).. this chassis has a special rule that gives it a fixed-size fuel-tank of 550 (of its total 1000 capacity)

Phew, they're a lot of work.. even with the modelling and skinning all done, these 3 took about 2.5 hours each to finish off.

They don't yet exist in the wilderness; I need to implement the special fueltank rules, then will think about some NPC designs. All 3 will turn up from time to time in the southern shops.

You can try them out in DW:Tactical immediately (that'd be useful in fact..)

There will have to be a system to take fuel out of a fueltank, yes. The simplest way would be to create fuel cans.. will probably do it that way but you'll lose a little bit to simulate the purchase of the cans themselves.

Or yes, siphoning to another vehicle in the same squad would be easy to implement too.

Rear weapons allowed for the tanker?

A controllable syphon ability would be good and would allow it to be used for trade.  Right now it'd just be a fuel car for convoys.

IMO, this should be avoided.  It's a level of minutiae that is really unnecessary, and the cost of an empty fuel can should be insignificant against the value of the fuel itself.

There are more pressing issues WRT fuel than simulating the purchase of empty cans, IMO.

EDIT: And, after about the first time it happens, most, if not all players, and especially the traders will argue that they already have cans, or a storage tank of some kind, or should be allowed to buy empty cans and leave them in their lockup, and therefore should not be penalized by this loss of fuel.

I agree with Marrkos on the gas issue.

Also, can we get the specs on the new cars? Weight, bulk, engine size etc... then maybe we could post a few NPC suggestions... :)

They're fairly rare in the shops (probably TX/SF only) but that doesn't have to coincide precisely with the wilderness.

I'd be happy to see the Corgette anywhere but SS, and the other two maybe anywhere south of GW
