Raccoon v. Alpha

Kelaparan Hungry Hyenas Autodueller Renegade Group: Members Posts: 288 Joined: May 22, 2007 I see people generally buy Alphas over Raccoons. Are they that different? I don't think i've raced any stock raccoons so I was curious how they handled / performed in comparison to the Alpha. They're both light, compact cars that are good for hit-and-run attacks. I have a machine gun on my Alpha and micro-missile launcher on my Raccoon. Keep in mind I don't really race-race, so high-speed turns and race-style manuevering are not something I can comment on. I can just talk on combat handling. Its just a stepping stop I guess. Yeah other than the 10 weight difference I was wondering how it was like, more for racing than anything else. I mean, is it a death trap on wheels liable to spin you out, flip over, vault, or do all of the above at the slightest error? It's there to make the 1.0 events a bit more diverse, not because it's distinctly different from the other small, cheap sub-compact car.
