Due to another thread where this question has arisen. Would it be an idea to offer a service  to members that are ' subscribed' for under a month, that for a small fee transports there Firelight Gladiator Heros home. After One month of playing most members should be capable of moving Gangers themselves !!

well... I'll agree it's an issue... only today a newer player chose to deliberately get his gladiators killed rather than be bothered dragging them back from FL.

I disagree, however, that most would be capable of making the journey themselves after a month.

Maybe the solution could be player driven rather than coding? An extension of the service metrocube already offers.. Maybe sam could make an option in the FL tavern for prople to post who want to 'hitch a lift' home which can be picked up by more vet players? *thinking out loud*

Do you think players that new read the wiki? A page about options for getting home or even staying put. I guess I had plenty of money when I had gladiators, but for under $100k was easily able to build travel vehicles that could run the whole way pretty safely. Some tips on those rigs and the terrain that will be seen, plus suggestions on how to hitch?
