If you caught some badass who had killed 100s of pirates driving around in an unarmed muscle car while he thought he safe for a drive it word would still get around. Remember this isn't rep this is Fame, You can be famous for being a ruthless killer just as easily of not more so for winning gunfights. Now the question arises about the bounties. since butane had bounties would i be a somerset local hero then since i scouted towards somerset 50 miles to find them? or any distance for that matter? I didnt get hero status for somerset. killed quite a few of them, some had to have high enough skill. How on earth is that encouraging driving around without weapons?  You can still be PvPed, PvPing you is simple and poses no risk whatsoever, and you can still have your car stolen and your ganger killed.  The opposing team not getting a fame boost gives you no advantage whatsoever, and the opposing team still gets a significant advantage from PvPing you (your car), all for absolutely no risk. Talk about reflexive, totally un-thought-out responses.
