hvy weapons are good for acceleration true....but around SS a rocket booster can save a lorry that has to climb a sand dune right away. I have one on my SS Lorry and it saved it a few times.

I can confirm that rocket boosters do damage a car that is in its blast, maybe the damage causing potential is why they are not permitted in conventional races but are allowed in death races.

I also recall in a death race that someone (joel?) fitted rocket boosters to get a head start but then found out that they are classed as a weapon and could only be used after the weapon armed time (he ended up getting out and using an smg as I recall).

So rocket boosters seem to be classed as weapons (not that it would matter in the wildereness since you can fire immediately)

Yes It was me, thanks for reminding me, I forgot about that.  That's why RB are kinda useless... in DRs.

they do not. this was experimented on ages ago after a discussion about this and the person who did it reported no damage.... i have frequently fired rocket boosters into a trainling moray at 5 yards or less and never had a damage message.

Your Buzzer will take a 5L unexposed engine in it. You just need to find one! ;)

Nah. 3.2L V8s do a fine job of moving the thing and leave you with much more room for weapons, ammo, and bodies.

Edit: I mean, uh, right! You absolutely must have a 5L engine. Can't move a Buzzer without one! Place your orders today with me, they're coming hot off of the line at Fort Sherman! Only $40k delivered to Elms, $45k to SS.
