This was actually just a small patch fixing a few bugs such as the loss-of-chat-focus when turns happen.
Unfortuantely it added its own bug. If you're seeing something like this (massively wide targeting line): then you need to refresh your client engine, with a fix I just uploaded 1. Open your darkwind folder 2. From here, open the client_params.txt file 3. Edit the "engineVersion: 116" or "engineVersion: 115" value so it reads "engineVersion: 0" 4. save the file 5. run the patcher. You should see the game engine downloading again. |

ahhh that's what that was - I logged out of a pro combat to try to "fix it" by reloading. Sure was nice of Cap and Legends to ignore my timeout and keep playing 3 turns in the meantime - Thanks again guys!

I'm still experiencing loss of chat focus as a spectator. It occurs just after all the firing animations finish, which I presume is the very end of the turn.

On windows Latte?
If so, you can grab the fixed client engine yourself, from here: Windows Client and unzip it into your darkwind folder, over-writing the version that's already there. |

Vista only gives read permissions, I forget how to manually change it(was months ago).
You could re-install in your vista user's directory where you have full control for sure. Ops I see your last message, so nevermind - but this might be useful info here. |

I also still lose the ability to type complete sentences if I am spectating an encounter. Vista 64-bit here. I'll try patching manually, and post if that fixes my issue.
If it does, then there may be some bug related to automatic engine upgrades on Vista. |
