Lots of small bits updated today- the ones I can remember are:
NPCs now carry (and use) spare ammunition; I have updated the looting code and hopefully gotten rid of the 'disappearing icons' bug; Cars will now be forced to resign after 5 moves underwater; The 'must escape' rules have changed so that a car now must be moving away from all enemies in addition to being 500m away from them in order to be forced to resign; The 'icy grass' should be fixed; The trucker skill now trains with use (remember, all vehicles >500 total capacity use the trucker skill rather than the driver skill) NPC pirate gangs are now sometimes set up in ambush formation (as opposed to always being right behind you on the road) Any combats outside town will delay for up to 20 minutes if no participants have yet logged in |

After this update, the sound is not working correctly.
Gunfire is a continuous hiss and rockets have a sound I cant describe. After I joined as a spectator in 'Speedealers' mission and getting the bad sounds, I exited both his game and java. I restarted again and re-entered his game with the same result with sounds. I'm going to check with a test mission on my own to make sure. |

OK, I can revert the sound settings. I was trying some different ways of getting rid of the annoying delay you sometimes get when a sound is set off. I assume these delays happen to other people too? | ||

Sound is still screwy with my test alone....
Mine was a standard test scouting outside Somerset.. Speeds was I believe in transit to Elmsfield. same sound.
Yeah some small delay. |

OK, I've reverted the sound settings in question, so it should be back to normal. |
