Client crash kept me from mission

I just started a trip to Elmsfield with my new lorry and a pickup. I was planning on starting regular runs to get a feel for how I should set up vehicles for making trade runs. When I started the run I got the first mission S865 Haulin Fools vs. Sabre Dogs - Road To Elmsfield and launched the client. The client failed to finish loading, stopping at the same point 3 times in a row. It hung during the loading objects phase (100,428k loaded(according to windows task manager)). Thinking there might be something wrong on my end, I reset ASAP and tried getting back in :(. Unfortunately when I got back in the event had ended. Upon checking my squad the lorry is gone  The lorry had a bunch of my extra looted engines to take to Elm, and by itself was worth 75k+. A huge loss :(

Darn! I'll discuss this one with you privately mamba.

Has anyone else had any good/bad experiences with the 'road to elmsfield' map?

just the .ml issue - which isn't isolated to elmsfield. And that damn ditch I couldn't get out of...twice! :(

This is 'road to elmsfield', not 'gates of elmsfield' we're talking about, speed..?

Road to elmsfield is the one with the spooky looking sunset-lighting. I haven't had a combat on it yet myself, but everything seems in order on any stand-alone tests I've tried on my development machines.

The only other time I was on that map everything seemed fine. I had a really long chase between my pickup truck and a couple of interceptors. I finally lost them when I cut cross-country and drove like a true maniac on rougher ground than they could safely cross.

Also a note to enyone thinking of trying it, mines dropped from the side mounts on a pickup only hit yourself sometimes :cyclops:

I've been thinking some more about what happened here, and what I am doing is making squad-based events delay for up to 20 minutes if the first participant has not fully logged in (your partial log-in would not have been counted, mamba).

I also considered making these events not 'real' until someone logged in, but there's a number of ways that could be abused so I'd rather avoid it.
