*sam* Posted May 13, 2009, 2:20 pm	There's some more lobby tweaks in here, many of which were suggestions following the recent changes - colour coding users, tagging event types in 'live' list, etc. Also you will now see a 'Join Event' option when you right-click a user who's in a live event, so you can join the same event without needing any detective work.

Something that would be very practical would be to have the option to show live events and upcoming events as two separate lists, side-by-side. Not only would it make good use of the empty space, but also make it possible for us to see just about all event info at once. Also, the "scenes of Evan" element is a very nice addition. But I believe it would look even better with a small frame, as the screenshots now stand out just a bit too sharply against the client colours around it. Heh, we Darkwind players... never satisfied in our search for perfection, eh?

Have a set of pre-defined viewing angles relative to active vehicles.  The server picks a random active vehicle from an ongoing event, randomly selects one of the pre-defined viewing angles, and does a screen capture.

You make it sound so easy  The server doesn't do screen captures, since it knows nothing of this thing we humans call graphics. It's a world purely of physics and dicerolls, to the server. The idea is great though, it would have to go along the lines of: screenshot captured from client, automatically bounced off lobby server to other clients so they can show it. But then that makes it sound very easy too..

Six Gun Jack Posted May 13, 2009, 10:51 pm	I love the new look. If possible the solution to make everyone happy is draggable sizes on all the windows. As everyone is going to like different windows more prominent. Someone already mentioned this, im just seconding it if that is not a big hassle. Otherwise I like the way it is very much.
