An excellent Gazette this month BWGunner and JD, well done. You had me getting more interested the longer I read, the sign of a very good story/article.

Thank you LF..
Knowing the stories are getting the response intended is a BIG incentive to continue.

"The mark of a good writer is not in his 'prose' (grammar), it's the way the reader is pulled into the story." (Edgar Allen Poe)

Did you have to go back and read the story from the start?....... If not, you should. Gunner was a HUGE help with finishing this story. We collaborated on the final edit and I think it worked. The end of the story was a "Didn't see that coming did ya?"

Great job guys! I always liked the atmosphere in your writing JD, the tense and brutal descriptions of the insects are always impressive ;)

BWG's poster is now downloadable from the Gazette page (pdf format)

I'll be sending you a new version without the "and is coming" part as soon as the files and a machine with a current version of Illustrator are in the same room. I'll also send you a version good for wallpaper.

And let's not forget to thank Mr. Knoffler. I had to wonder, was the map designed from the song...sure seems like it.

JD - Preview is an app that comes with OS X - all versions.

Look in hd/Applications for Preview.app *OR* right click (ctrl click) the downloaded file and choose open with and find preview in Apps that way...

and... LOL - very cute

I'm running the latest OS X - 10.5.6 - and do NOT have to have Acrobat, but of course I'm running Apple...

preview is way faster than acobat, if you can view it in safari, right click to open in "preview", and if you download it on your desktop do the same
