The major work in this patch is the 1st release of DW:Tactical.

I'm currently doing some last-minute tests before activating the 'DW:Tactical' button you'll see in the lobby.

Still a couple of bugs being worked on... seems mostly working though. Things always behave slightly differently in the live environment, plus I have no test rig for certain bits such as the lobby/events manager.

Yeah I got notification of a gameserver crash at the elms track.
It's probably too much to hope that it's a coincidence... sorry about that.

OK, scripts v237 activates the DW:Tactical button in the lobby.
It all appears to work as intended, though I'm sure you'll find my cunningly hidden bugs before too long.. :rolleyes:

nice but a couple sugestions

1) the text is not readable on top of light pictures like so, (team names unreadable)

2) and it would be sure nice to delete your own templates, because it's the only way to play? by saving your template for everyone to see?

3) and is it possible to make it start way sooner than 10 minutes, seems to be the min,

4) also didn't see the lines for the waypoints

No, you only create a template when you want it to be used multiple times. To create a regular event, uncheck the 'Create as Template Event' option.

Yeah, could probably make it 5.

You took control of some vehicles for waypoints only? I'll check into this, it worked fine in my offline tests.

The skills all have up/down buttons beside them!

They didn't seem to have any effect unless there was a skill entry already there. 

In other words, if the skill value was 0 (presumably) there was no label next to the up/down buttons, so it was a) hard to know which skill was being adjusted, and b) no feedback that points were being added to a skill.

Hmm I'm lost I'm afraid. I see both labels and buttons for all skills. No skill is ever randomised to less than 1.

:) Yeah I've been busy with some stuff, but I kept my guys training while I was on hiatus.

This Tactical thing sounds really good, so I'll probably be digging into it this weekend when I get a chance.

Yeah hopefully someone will setup a decent event or two and we can gather a few players together..

They can be scheduled well ahead of time and will be listed on the events diary.

I couldn't resist and loaded it up and started messing around. This is VERY nice. It's even better than I thought. Being able to customize the names and abilities of all of the characters. In fact, the only two things I saw missing right now is I can't adjust character inventory and I can't place characters sans cars (probably related to the fact the game doesn't do this yet anyway).

So far it is genuis though. I mean, this is huge.

Edit - Just tried an event and DW: Tactical is awesome. The possibilities are nearly limitless. I can only hope this feature will be highlighted and continually updated and enhanced.

Yep, all of that would be good. Uh, wait, does that mean that junk event template I completed can't be deleted? Or can't be edited? Sorry, if I had known I wouldn't have put the clutter in there.

I didn't look into allowing replays of them yet darth, will do ASAP.. should be fairly simple to do.
