Engine loot bug?

Here's a shot of that. I had a 50 skill mech riding with me if that changes anything. I think most of the engines were dead or almost dead.
This is from 1 battle, but it's pretty similar to most I've had.

yeah i've run into that as well...had no mechanics at all and still had engines at 113%

Ye, sorry guys I didn't look into this bug yet. I assume it's something simple... I have been doing lots of back-end stuff on having looting results stored to the database, etc. Will also be trying to improve the AI driving in the wilderness some more..

Lets give Sam a rest...
HE prolly has a ream of notes to go through, much less sort it all out in a 2 month gameplay stoppage... (is stoppage a word?)

Either way,
We can be assured the DarkWind Player Membership will continue. We will continue to pump LOTS of munitions into deserving denizens (NPC's) of the DarkWind community!

Heh thanks JD. But actually, I welcome as many bug reports as you feel like giving me! This is the whole idea of testing ;)

edit: RE ream of notes. Yeah, I started a Word document about 18 months ago: my to-do list. I delete stuff out of it as I implement them. It's now 29 pages long :o

Is that 29 pages of "it would be nice if...", or are they all short term task that you want to get done before release?

It's mostly future work, the essentials before release is about 5.5 pages..

Yeah, but I like it so it's not really work :)

Regarding the engine and armour looting bug, I have found the likely causes of both and will have them hopefully fixed in the next update.
