Here's a shot of that. I had a 50 skill mech riding with me if that changes anything. I think most of the engines were dead or almost dead.
This is from 1 battle, but it's pretty similar to most I've had. Engine health bug |

yeah i've run into that as well...had no mechanics at all and still had engines at 113% |

Ye, sorry guys I didn't look into this bug yet. I assume it's something simple... I have been doing lots of back-end stuff on having looting results stored to the database, etc. Will also be trying to improve the AI driving in the wilderness some more.. |

Lets give Sam a rest...
HE prolly has a ream of notes to go through, much less sort it all out in a 2 month gameplay stoppage... (is stoppage a word?) Either way, We can be assured the DarkWind Player Membership will continue. We will continue to pump LOTS of munitions into deserving denizens (NPC's) of the DarkWind community! |

Heh thanks JD. But actually, I welcome as many bug reports as you feel like giving me! This is the whole idea of testing ![]() edit: RE ream of notes. Yeah, I started a Word document about 18 months ago: my to-do list. I delete stuff out of it as I implement them. It's now 29 pages long ![]() |
Korivak Posted Mar 9, 2007, 4:54 pm |
Is that 29 pages of "it would be nice if...", or are they all short term task that you want to get done before release? |
*sam* Posted Mar 9, 2007, 4:58 pm |
It's mostly future work, the essentials before release is about 5.5 pages.. |
Korivak Posted Mar 9, 2007, 5:02 pm |
That's still a lot of work. |
*sam* Posted Mar 9, 2007, 5:15 pm |
Yeah, but I like it so it's not really work ![]() Regarding the engine and armour looting bug, I have found the likely causes of both and will have them hopefully fixed in the next update. |
