Event display, client bug

Sounds similar but this is not the case.
JD experienced a bug with the developper test event. The event wasn't available in the client and he had to restart it to be displayed.

This is a known bug in the java lobby; I wasn't aware it was happening in the client too; unless JD is confusing client and jaba lobby...
(JD, please check that. jaba lobby has a .jar extension, while the client is a .app; if you haven't enable extensions to be displayed, use the "get information" menu).

DjFou experienced some kind of a similar bug, but users were not being displayed...

I had the problem with users/events too, but for the special event you've made (when I was afk) didn't noticed it too... But the other one (start places worst than before, said something like that), I saw it.
Normally, a simple restart of the lobby correct the problem...
It sometimes happen when i'm loggin with the lobby and select another application until it show me the window (etc browsing on Safari etc..), but i'm not sure... could check the Logfiles of Mac OSX too...

It was in the .jar lobby that I was experiencing the problem.

I had the problem with the developer test event yesterday as well. It showed up fine the first time, but the second one did not. I simply had to go into the game client to see it when Vik said that it was up. I have never had this problem before when the regular events were playing.

I think the problem always tended to happen with the developer test events, and possibly not any other ones. This is because we recycle the same event ID number (it's always #928 for some arcane reason) and.. well.. either the lobby server or the client gets confused or something: I never bothered to look into it.

This is one of the few cases where using events list in the game client is useful.
As we planned to remove it from the game client, maybe we should have it hidden instead... it might be of some use in the future.

Only problem is you have to restart the java and input your log and pass again.

Mine is a fast typing set, but others might not be so quick.
Putting in a "remember this pass and login" might be nice.
